    AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Stacked on the slopes of Telluride's ski mountain, this nine-story hotel caters to skiers, golfers, and upscale travelers who want lots of luxury and personal attention. The sprawling lobby lounge welcomes guests with an oversized fireplace, leather chairs and sofas, original art, and a three-story atrium that overlooks Telluride and the surrounding peaks of the San Juan Mountains.

Amenity highlights: The resort is home to Colorado's largest health spa, the celebrated Golden Door. Occupying five floors, it includes a family level with an indoor/outdoor pool, spas, and water slide; children's pool, steam room, and sauna.
